2. Data We Collect

• Account data: name, email, encrypted password
• Social media OAuth tokens for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook
• Content you create or upload
• Usage data and analytics
• Payment data processed by Stripe

3. How We Use Your Data

• Provide social media automation services
• Post content to your connected accounts on your behalf
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Send transactional emails
• Improve our platform

4. Legal Basis (GDPR)

We process data under contract (to deliver services), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention), consent (marketing), and legal obligation (tax records).

5. Google API Data

Our use of data obtained via Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements. We only use Google user data to provide YouTube posting features you explicitly request.

6. Data Sharing

We share data only with: Stripe (payments), SendGrid (email), OpenAI/Anthropic (AI generation, no personal data), Hetzner (EU hosting). We never sell your data.

7. Data Retention

Data deleted within 30 days of account deletion. Billing records retained 7 years. Social media tokens revoked immediately.

9. Children & Minors

UgoingViral is a business tool for social-media marketing and is intended only for users aged 18 and over. By creating an account you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

• Under 13: Our services are not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from, children under the age of 13 (in line with the GDPR and the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, "COPPA"). If you are under 13 you must not use the platform or provide any information to us.
• Under 18 (minors): Anyone under 18 may not use UgoingViral. Where local law permits use by a minor below 18 (e.g. under the supervision of a parent), prior verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian is required, and the parent/guardian remains responsible for the minor's use of the service and connected social-media accounts.
• No targeted collection or profiling of minors: We do not knowingly collect, use, sell, or share data from minors, and we do not carry out behavioural advertising, targeted marketing, or profiling directed at anyone we know to be under 18.
• Removal: If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, or from a minor without the required parental consent, we will delete that data promptly. Parents or guardians who believe a minor has provided us data can contact support@ugoingviral.com to review, correct, or delete it.

10. Security

We use HTTPS/TLS encryption, encrypted token storage, and regular security audits.
